Dr. J.J. Meyer - Clinic Director

Dr. Meyer has been a Chiropractor for over 30 years. This is the third successful practice that Dr. Meyer has been a director of and he has a real passion for administering chiropractic care for all ages.  It is his goal that from infant to elderly, each person receive chiropractic care.  He is a diplomate of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, a member of The Christian Chiropractic Assocation,American Chiropractic Association, Iowa Chiropractic Society and a Palmer graduate. He has a real passion for helping people. His goal is to administer the finest chiropractic care in the Cedar Rapids area by utilizing all of the available technology in the chiropractic profession today. He is proficient with the Gonstead, Diversified, Activator and various other adjusting techniques. His hobbies and interests include reading, writing, racing, and boating.

Dr. Aaron J. Meyer

Dr. Aaron is a second generation Chiropractor and a Palmer graduate with over five years of clinical experience. He is a Brimhall Certified Practitioner (BCP) which focuses on "The six steps to wellness." His primary focus is to help people in their journey toward wellness. He does this by focusing on the patient's whole body, not just their "symptom" or "disease." He is proficient in using the Low Level Laser (3LT), allergy elimination (A/SERT), adjustor and percussor. He is also trained in sports chiropractic, Thompson, Diversified, Activator, and Applied Kinesiology (AK). Dr. Aaron publishes a monthly newsletter on his website to help educate people and to help them make informed health decisions (click here for more info). His hobbies are spending time with his lovely wife and daughter, working out and attending church at Antioch Christan Church. He also is a member of the Christian Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association, and the Iowa Chiropractic Society.

Angela Strandland L.M.T.

Angela is a second generation health care professional.  She has a real passion for assisting people reach their health potential.  She has a gift of discerning what massage therapy is right for you. Whether it be deep tissue work, sports massage, or total relaxation techniques, you and her can decide.  Angela is a member of The Bodywork and Professionals, Carlson College graduate, and is licensed in Iowa.  Her hobbies and interests include, reading, sports, animals and spending time with her new husband.  

Bekah

Bekah is our office manager. Bekah has been employed at Collins Road Chiropractic for ten years. She enjoys talking and working with patients from the appointment scheduling to meeting their needs related to x-ray and therapy. She makes our office warm for the patients and easy to understand when it comes time for scheduling and collection. Bekah is a limited radiographer which allows her to take x-rays in our office and her hobbies and interests are family shopping, watching movies, and listening to music.

Karmen

Karmen is our front desk supervisor.  She has been employed at Collins Road Chiropractic for eight years and is an x-ray technician. This allows her to make the x-ray and examination experience enjoyable for the patient. She is proficient with all types of therapy and she finds it easy and enjoyable in taking x-rays. Her hobbies and interests are family, camping , boating and reading. 

Kayla

Kayla is our wellness assistant and also a front desk CA. She is a very helpful person. She enjoys helping the patient to the treatment room before they see the doctor or assisting in using different modalities (ultrasound, e-stim, etc...) after the treatment. She assists both doctors with our wellness care.

Brenda

Brenda is one of our front desk CA's. She helps patients reach their health potential by using ultrasound, e-stim, laser and other modalities. Her hobbies include camping, biking, watching races, and just being outdoors in general. She also enjoys just being around family.

Carrie

Carrie is our insurance assistant. She is a great asset to our insurance and billing department. She has several years experience in the insurance industry. In her spare time she enjoys antiquing, crafts, and spending time with family and friends. Her and her husband are enjoying their new home which they built themselves.
